Krystal Cole (Part Time-On Air)
Fun Facts About Krystal
Where were you born?
I was born in New Castle, IN.
Computer or television?
I watch television on my computer! Seriously, I’m a Netflix addict.
I’m sure that most would agree that this is one of the most difficult questions to answer. There are so many songs that mean a great deal to me, but I’ll answer with Jimmy Buffett’s Son of a Son of a Sailor. I choose Son of a Son of a Sailor because of the lyrics: “I’ve read dozens of books about heroes and crooks, and I’ve learned much from both of their styles.”
What are some of your hobbies or interests?
As previously mentioned, I spend a lot of time watching Netflix; probably more than anyone should be allowed! This is because I love film and television. I enjoy cooking for friends and family. I love reading and find that there is nothing like a good book. Journaling is something I find to be relaxing and quite fun. Nothing seems to be as therapeutic as writing down your thoughts. I like to sew, though I am admittedly not very good. I'm new to knitting, which I enjoy very much so far. I love to travel. I wish I could spend my entire life traveling, I want to see everything there is to see. Most of all, I like learning new things. I want to know as much as I can about everything.
What is your favorite cereal?
The tough questions continue! Cinnamon Toast Crunch sounds delicious right now.
What is the first thing you notice about people?
I notice how well a person communicates. Few things in life are as enjoyable as good conversation.
Do you have a special talent?
Not unless watching obscene amounts of Netflix is a talent. Should I mention Netflix some more? Netflix.
"I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious."
If you could have lunch with three people (real/fictitious/dead/alive) who would they be and why?
I’d love to have lunch with the Doctor from Doctor Who. He is able to travel through time and space, so I doubt there would be a lull in the conversation. After a lunch that can only be described as “an experience” of trying food from all different time periods and planets, he would take me for a tour of the TARDIS where he’d ask me to be his companion. I’d immediately accept, and off we’d go saving the world!
Woody Allen is my favorite filmmaker. We’d have lunch in New York City, a place we both love, and we’d discuss literature, film, and music. Then we’d schedule our next lunch for somewhere in Europe.
Okay, I may be cheating a bit on this one because it isn’t just one person, but I’d like to have a lunch with ten generations of my family, both past and future. Each person could make his or her favorite dish! Seriously, how cool would that be?
If you were stranded on a beach, what are the five things that you would want with you to survive?
I know that I wouldn’t survive long, so I’d just enjoy it for as long as I lasted!
-a good book
-supplies to write letters to everyone I love
-my Brita water bottle
What is your dream car/bike?
I’d like to have a Ford Model T, in black of course.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
This is the most difficult question here. I could never choose just one place. I want to see the entire world, or at least all of Earth! I’d like to spend a year where I spent one week in every state. I’m also dying to get to Europe.
Last restaurant you went to?
Cracker Barrel. I went with my mother and I ordered hash brown casserole, which has to be the best food in the entire world.
What was the last concert you attended?
I saw one of my favorite bands, Say Anything, in Boston last year. I had a lovely time. My next concert will be Taylor Swift!
